The use of BetterDoc is free of charge for all EGK-insured persons. The Swiss BetterDoc team consists of independent experts who will find the right specialists for you and your individual case.
We help you find a highly competent specialist for your health problem. Based on comprehensible quality criteria.
BetterDoc is voluntarily advised by an expert advisory board of over 2500 leading physicians from Germany and Switzerland. In addition, we collect and analyze objective quality data from various sources.
You contact us and have your medical records ready. In a telephone conversation, you provide us with information about your situation, previous illnesses and your wishes and requirements for the specialist you are looking for.
Our medical team identifies at least two specialists best suited to your situation. We base this on publicly available quality data and information, as well as feedback from other patients.
No later than two working days after all the relevant information has been provided, you will receive the specialist recommendations from which you can select a specialist. We will be happy to help you make an appointment. After completion of treatment, you will receive an invitation to a satisfaction survey from us.
Every patient and every situation is unique and not easily served by a database query. We are constantly improving the quality of our recommendations with diagnosis-specific patient surveys. Our physician advisory board advises us on particularly complex situations. In addition, we continuously analyze and evaluate public quality information.
For many diagnoses, we collect data using specific questionnaires on indication and outcome quality over a period of up to 2 years. And we obtain information on patient satisfaction with on-site processes.
